Ebenezer Methodist Church Youth Steel Orchestra was formed in 1994. This Orchestra began as a result of a grant,
which purpose was drug prevention. The Steel Orchestra is an outreach ministry of the Ebenezer Methodist Church. At
present, the Orchestra consists of 50 young people who continue to meet three times a week for practice. The
youngest member is 7 years old.  Members of the group are primarily Methodist. However, the number of
non-Methodist in the orchestra is fast growing. The Orchestra accepts any young person within the community who
want to learn music. It is a way for young people to witness through steel pan music for Christ.

The orchestra has several engagements throughout the year playing primarily religious music. The Steel Orchestra has
traveled and played on St. Thomas, Tortola BVI, Puerto Rico, Washington DC and Texas.  The first CD was released
in 2002. At present, the orchestra has released a total of 4 CDs, along with a promotional DVD.

 "It's all about JESUS..."

                                    Psalm 100 (NKJV)
1 Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!
2 Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.
3 Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we
ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be
thankful to Him, and bless His name.
5 For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to
all generations.
